North Hollywood · Four decades on Lankershim
An accident is more than damage to a car — it interrupts your whole week. CBS Auto Body returns the vehicle to factory specification and returns you to normal, with manufacturer-certified repairs backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

Who We Are
For over four decades the same doors have opened on Lankershim Boulevard, and the standard behind them has not moved: repair the car the way its manufacturer says it must be repaired, or do not touch it.
That is the difference between a body shop and a certified collision repair center. Certification means factory-trained technicians, manufacturer-approved procedures, OEM parts, and equipment the brand itself has signed off on — the aluminum welders, the measuring systems, the paint chemistry.
It also means the safety systems in a modern car — the sensors behind the bumper, the calibrated cameras in the windshield, the crush structures under the skin — go back together the way the engineers intended. A car can look perfect and still be wrong underneath. Ours are not.
What We Do
From a supermarket door ding to a structural rebuild after a serious collision — every job runs through the same certified process, and leaves under the same warranty.
All servicesFull structural and cosmetic repair after an impact, measured against factory specification and documented every step of the way.
Expert refinishing for a flawless, stunning finish — spectrophotometer color matching, sealed downdraft booth, baked and polished by hand.
Factory-quality panel restoration — dents pulled, creases worked out, gaps reset to the millimeter so the car reads straight from every angle.
Unibody and frame straightening on a computerized bench, with a printed before-and-after measurement report for you and your insurer.
Paint correction, ceramic-ready polishing and full detailing — every car leaves cleaner than it arrived, whether it came in for a bumper or a rebuild.
We work directly with every major insurer, arrange the rental car, and keep you updated — so the only call you have to make is the first one.
The Difference
Not every shop is allowed to repair these cars. Manufacturers audit the training, the tooling and the procedures before they put their name next to yours — and CBS holds their approval.

Preferred Shop
A Mercedes-Benz Preferred Collision Repair Center — factory-approved repairs on the brand’s own procedures, tooling and parts.
Certified Center
A BMW Certified Collision Repair Center, held to the manufacturer’s structural, aluminum and calibration standards.

Certified
Chevrolet, GMC, Buick and Cadillac — repaired to GM’s published collision repair procedures with genuine GM parts.

Certified
Kia-recognized repair, from high-strength steel structures to the driver-assistance systems that have to be recalibrated afterwards.

Certified
Hyundai and Genesis repairs completed on the manufacturer’s own procedures so the factory warranty stays intact.

Certified
Specialist finishes and aluminum structures handled by technicians trained on the marque, not on a generic curriculum.
Modern cars are engineered as a single safety system. A bumper is a sensor housing. A windshield is a camera mount. A quarter panel is part of the crush structure. Repair any of it with the wrong part, the wrong weld or the wrong procedure and the car looks finished while quietly failing the next crash test it is asked to pass.
Manufacturer certification is the only independent proof that a shop has the training, the equipment and the written procedures to put your car back the way it left the factory. You are entitled to ask any shop for theirs. Ours are on the wall.

How It Works
You make one phone call. We take it from there — the estimate, the insurer, the rental, the repair and the final inspection.
Tell us what happened. Send a few pictures from your phone and we can give you a realistic idea of scope before the car ever moves.
Bring the car in — no appointment needed for an estimate. You get a line-by-line written figure, and an honest opinion about whether the claim is worth filing.
We deal with the adjuster, the supplements and the paperwork directly, and arrange the rental car so you are never stranded. California law says the shop is your choice — not theirs.
Disassembly, structural measurement, panel work and refinishing — every operation on the manufacturer’s published procedure, by technicians trained on your marque.
Driver-assistance sensors recalibrated, systems scanned, panel gaps and color checked in daylight against the rest of the car. Then it is detailed.
We walk the car with you, explain exactly what was done, and hand over a limited lifetime warranty on the workmanship for as long as you own it.
Our Work
Porsche, Mercedes-AMG, Land Rover, Tesla, Honda — the range on our lot on any given morning is the shortest possible explanation of what this shop does.

Insurance Claims
Two things insurers rarely volunteer, and both are in your favor.
You do not need three estimates. By law you need one, and the shop is your decision. Your insurance company cannot require you to use a specific repairer.
We work directly with every major carrier — writing the supplements, sending the photographs, negotiating the operations that actually have to happen on your car rather than the ones a database estimated from a desk.
Rental car, towing, pickup and delivery: say the word and it is arranged.
Testimonials
Four decades of repeat customers, referrals and people who came in after somebody else got it wrong.

“10 out of 10. Best service I ever received. My car was severely damaged and now looks like I just bought it. Their prices were much less than other places I got a quote from — some said they couldn’t even fix it and I needed a new door. They professionally fixed my car and made it look brand new.”
“Brought my Audi e-tron GT in for some minor body work — a scrape and a small dent. It did take over a week, but they did a fantastic job. Highly recommend them. Car was returned spotless and looked to be detailed. Happy customer.”
“Everything I was told would be done was completed. I didn’t need to follow up or remind them. They contacted the insurance company, had the paperwork prepared, called the rental car company and got me the same caliber car at a good price. I highly recommend them and have already referred two people.”
“All the folks at CBS were terrific. Got my car painted after someone sideswiped it and left. I have nothing but praise for the people and most of all the terrific paint job. Thank you so much for caring.”
“Nahal is my go-to person — she takes care of my auto needs. Unfortunately I got into several accidents, but CBS always got me. Never have I met someone so accommodating and understanding of any situation. The value of the work they do is absolutely amazing. My car is practically brand new.”

“We warrant the repair against defects in materials and workmanship for a limited lifetime.”
Paint, parts and installation. For as long as you own the vehicle.
Defects arising from installation, paint or defective parts are covered for a limited lifetime.
The warranty runs with you, not with the car — it ends if the vehicle changes hands.
It is voided if another shop works on the same repair, or if the same area is hit again.
Handed to you on delivery, in plain English, with the repair order attached.
Still Not Sure?
Yes. We work directly with all major insurance companies and guide you through the claims process to make it as stress-free as possible — including supplements, adjuster negotiation and rental car coordination.
No. By law you only need one estimate, and you can choose the repair shop you trust. Your insurance company cannot force you to use a specific shop.
Repair time depends on the extent of the damage. Small jobs may take 1–3 days, while larger collision repairs could take a week or more. We give you a clear timeline up front and tell you as soon as anything changes.
Limited lifetime warranty. CBS Auto Body warrants the repairs against any defects in materials and workmanship for a limited lifetime, including defects arising from improper installation, paint, or defective parts. The warranty is voided if you no longer own the vehicle, if another shop attempts to repair the vehicle, or if the vehicle is in another collision in the same place we repaired it.
It means the manufacturer has inspected this shop — the technician training, the equipment, the written procedures — and approved it to repair their cars. CBS is a Mercedes-Benz Preferred Collision Repair Center and a BMW Certified Collision Repair Center, and is certified by General Motors, Kia, Hyundai and Alfa Romeo.
No — we repair all makes and models. The certifications mean we are held to those manufacturers’ standards, and we apply the same discipline to every car that comes through the door, from a Honda to a Porsche.
